UN says 'no Surgical strikes Observed'


India has claimed that it carried out surgical strikes on 6 terror launchpads inside Pakistan in which 38 terrorists were killed and 2 Pakistani soldiers were injured. PM Modi has informed the President about the military operation. Pakistan has also told UN Secretary General  Ban Ki-moon that India's claim of carrying out a surgical strike across the LoC was false.  The upcoming South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (Saarc) summit scheduled to be held in November in Pakistan has been postponed after India Withdraw its participate. Following India's announcement, Bangladesh and Afghanistan said it was also pulling out. Nepal government has urged that a conducive environment be created soon to ensure participation of all member states in the 19th Saarc summit.
